The Cairns Festival seeks to deliver a vibrant, progressive and collaborative arts and cultural festival that speaks to the region's unique stories and celebrates the distinctive colours and hues of the tropical lifestyle. Now in it?s fifty-sixth year, the Cairns Festival will present a diverse program of music, art, circus, family entertainment, film and more. In addition to presenting national and international performers, musicians and artists, the festival will provide a platform for the finest local talents to shine. Audiences will see the return of family favourite events the Grand Parade and Fireworks, Sunday on the 'Nard, and Carnival on Collins, however, this year will also see a range of new free and ticketed events.
