Historic Chiltern is surrounded by the Box Ironbark National Park, abundant with birdlife including the turquoise parrot, swift parrot and regent honeyeater. Apart from local attractions, Chiltern is a short drive from surrounding towns such as Rutherglen, Beechworth, Albury-Wodonga and Wangaratta.
